Camp Blanding Archeological Survey Work Phase I&II Subcontract thru Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI): $185,000
A. Harold & Associates is a current subcontractor to Environmental Services Inc. (ESI) providing an Archaeological Technician to ESI's effort. The duties of AHA's technician include the excavation of shovel tests that measure 50 cm in diameter and dug to a depth of one meter wherever possible; excavation of formal units that measure either one or two square meters; bag artifacts and clearly mark the provenience; supply the field supervisor with accurate shovel test counts and notes. Shovel test locations will be determined by the field supervisor, who will provide the locations on a handheld GPS unit. AHA's technician will participate in the required unexploded ordinance (UXO) orientation course given by Camp Blanding Range Control.

Genesis Point Archeological Field Work and Office Study Subcontract thru Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI): $165,000

Duties performed by the archeological technician during the Phase III investigation at 9BN9: Rebird Creek Site will include the following: the excavation of formal units and block units measuring from 1 to 16 meters square, bagging artifacts, recording excavation levels, assigning artifact proveniences, site clearing and clean up, providing the site supervisor with accurate notes on a daily basis. In addition, laboratory tasks will also be performed that includes transporting artifacts to the ESI laboratory in Jacksonville, FL washing and re-bagging artifacts, artifact analysis and data entry.
