AHA Quality Assurance Program
AHA's quality system is compliant to ISO 9001:2000. The quality system is fully documented, implemented and maintained, and is continually improved through the use of corrective action, internal auditing, and management processes. AHA has adopted a process-oriented method of management. For each process identified in use at AHA, the sequence and interaction of processes has been determined, and the process controlled by way of criteria and methods specific to that process. Objectives are set for each process, and then measured and monitored, with appropriate data gathered and analyzed to ensure process effectiveness. During Management Review, process resources are discussed and allocated as applicable. Corrective and/or preventive action is taken to ensure the processes achieve desired results, and continually improve.

Quality Control Description

About Seaport-e
In 2002, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) promulgated Sea Power 21. It provides a framework to align, organize, and integrate the U.S. Navy to meet the wide variety of challenges that lie ahead. The CNO called upon the entire Navy, including the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Warfare Centers (WCs), to find ways to become more efficient and effective. To meet Sea Power 21 objectives and to increase efficiency, the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) have aligned to provide seamless integrated support for 12 core Product Area Directorates. The product areas are led by Product Area Directors that notionally are very small planning and oversight offices. The day-to-day project management, planning, staffing, and project execution will be provided by the geographically diverse NSWC and NUWC Divsions.
