Instructional Systems Design & Courseware Samples
HHS-CMS Courseware Development Contract Amount: $1,815,973
AHA provides Health and Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) with training analysis and courseware development for Hospital Survey Process Guidance and Professional Development. AHA provides analysis/re-design/design/development of approximately 100 hours (based on the outcome of the analysis) of classroom-based courseware to a flexible, learner centric hybrid approach for training, while simultaneously developing an integrated training continuum for the next five years which includes continuing education, regular updates to existing material, and supplemental interactive training segments to co-exist with the existing online Preceptor Manual. The objective of this program is to be able to reduce costs while providing the training to Hospital Surveyor Professionals anytime, and anywhere. Delivery is from Advanced Distributed Learning Service (ADLS), Instructor Led Training (ILT), Interactive Courseware (ICW), webinars, printed material, and other alternate means.

CCS Training and Performance Support Materials
Contract Amount: $562,401
AHA provides PM TRASYS and the USMC with analysis, design, and development of training and performance support materials for the Combat Convoy Simulator (CCS). The effort included development of an Instructional Performance Requirements Document (IPRD) and provided specific personnel performance requirements data necessary to support the development of training and performance support materials for CCS positions. It includes development and delivery of training task lists, learning objectives, learning hierarchies, media selection, Program of Instructions (POIs), Job Aid, and approximately 60 hours of instructor/trainee support materials, including classroom and practical application, for the CCS Contractor Operator/Maintainer, Tactical Instructor, and Unit OIC/SNCOIC's training and performance support materials. AHA is linking training device capabilities to T&R events that include classroom and practical application focusing Train-The-Trainer (T3) techniques in order to train Marines to become CCS Instructors/Operators. |

CDMTS Courseware Contract Amount: $94,429
AHA developed courseware training to support NAWCTSD's Common Distributed Mission Training Station (CDMTS) simulation software. CDMTS provides users with the ability to manage and control simulation-based training events. It is a simulation application that creates a dynamic, joint force, distributed training system that serves as the control center for four critical components of the training process - scenario development, exercise control, performance measurement, and after-action review.
AHA created an interactive training and assessment module for the CDMTS. This effort included performance of a training situation analysis to define

trainer risk and user interface issues, and development of a state-of-the-art CDMTS user interface, Beta version, multimedia-interactive, and training capability to provide for validation and standardized testing for CDMTS operators. AHA developed the training in an instructionally effective manner compliant with MIL-PRF-29612B, IEEE software design guidelines, and best industry practices.

Taiwan In-Country Courseware Contract Amount: $20,000
AHA designed, developed, and delivered a 2.0 hour Interactive Courseware (ICW) prototype lesson for the VSE-BAV Division. The courseware demonstrated incremental increases in Level of Interactivity (LOI) using a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) development tool. The development effort used a selection of the standup/paper-based instruction for the Taiwan Navy DDG-993 Mk-74 Missile Fire Control System. AHA also developed a Curriculum Objective Traceability Matrix (COTM) that analyzed 420 hours of paper-based Instructor Led Training (ILT) and resulted in a recommendation for the development of 279 hours of Computer Based Training (CBT) and Interactive Courseware (ICW).

ROBD Development Contract Amount: $79,999
AHA supports the Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD) - Spatial Disorientation (SD) Part Task Trainer (PTT) development program as an integral team member with instructional systems design (ISD) expertise. The ROBD-SD PTT provides naval aviators with hypoxia and spatial disorientation training in a simulated flight environment. AHA's role in this effort is to provide a comprehensive training situation analysis for the ROBD-SD PTT and recommend courseware solutions for its instructors and students. AHA is currently conducting a context, learner, setting, and gap analysis, and will use these findings to recommend curriculum updates and interactive courseware content.
