Live Training

OPFOR Live Training
Contract Amount: $381,728 (base + 2 years)

AHA provides event support for U.S. Air Force Opposing Forces (OPFOR) simulations at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. AHA personnel develop and brief scenarios, operate radar threat simulators and launch rockets to simulate surface-to-air threats along 58 OG low level routes, act as downed airman for search and rescue events, and act as aggressors in the search for downed aircrew during combat survival refresher training (CST), or the Fallen Angel phase of the Combat Mission Training (CMT) program. AHA personnel also provide assistance in the operation of drop zones and aid in the recovery of airdropped loads to the 58 OSS/OSD (Aerial Delivery). The OPFOR team works directly with USAF counterparts in scripting applicable scenarios, identifying resource requirements and executing the training in the field throughout the calendar year.

Physical Readiness Live Training
Contract Amount: $321,142

AHA has two Physical Readiness Program Assistants that provide support to FISC Norfolk Contracting Dept/Navy Personal Family Readiness Division. AHA personnel conduct classroom, lab, video-teleconferencing, and mobile facilitation using the co-facilitation method for the Physical Readiness Program (PRP) Command Fitness Leader (CFL) Certification Course for Navy personnel. Our personnel independently research, develop and submit updates to program course materials, and monitor and evaluate student progress in courses, and effectiveness of courses, covering a wide variety of topics. In addition, AHA personnel apply thorough knowledge of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and tools in order to resolve instructional problems and issues related to typical motivational concerns, recommend substantive course improvements, and independently plan and carry out training sessions within prescribed course frameworks.
Training Instructors, Pearl Harbor FCA
Contract Amount: $1,674,408 (base + 4 years)

AHA supplements the U.S. Navy workforce by providing instructor support to the Center for Naval Engineering (CNE) for the fire fighting and engineering courses located at CNE Learning Site Pearl Harbor Fire Fighting and Damage Control School, Pearl Harbor, HI. AHA's instructors work closely with U.S. Navy instructors to provide classroom and live high risk field Fire Fighting and Damage Control training, determining work priorities, technical accuracy of material, and providing technical guidance. AHA's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides basic first aid and all emergency medical attention required during live fire-fighting training, and provides Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training to fire fighting government personnel.
